  1. Technical problem…
The play button fails to initiate the data stream.
    Problem with the dilithium crystals?
Try reversing the polarity of the waveform modulators.

  2. I’m having a problem with my podcatcher as well. It appeared briefly but now does not show in the feed.
I’m guessing they just need to upload a new file 🤷🏼‍♂️

  3. Not a new thought, but, Squire of Gothos, a Q? I have always wondered if the idea for this being stemmed from that.

    1. I definitely think there’s some of Trelane’s Trek DNA in Q; certainly others have noted it and run with that idea. In Peter David’s novel “Q-Squared” Trelane is cast as a member of the Q Continuum; I think it’s even hinted that Q is his father.

  4. I would like to make a suggestion. —
Although it skips well ahead of the sequence and crosses over to another series,
Watch Voyager, season 2 episode 18 “Death Wish”.
Just to see one of the most excellent teleplays Star Trek has produced… before you get fatigued by the early examples and missteps. I think Chris will agree, it’s worth seeing in order to recharge hope that genuine quality can find it’s way into the franchise.

  5. FWIW, replicators don’t make something out of nothing. They just assemble the requested item out of existing atoms and molecules — the Enterprise has some big tanks of organic slurry that supply the raw materials for making food. Mining and other resource extraction operations are still necessary to provide raw material and rare elements.
